Cornell Notes questions
What belongs in the Cornell cue column?
Use the cue column for keywords, recall questions, formulas, dates, or prompts that help you test yourself later. The main note area should hold explanations and examples. The bottom summary should restate the main idea in a few sentences after the lecture or reading is complete.
Which line spacing is best for Cornell notes?
Use 8 mm line spacing for most handwriting. Choose 10 mm or 12 mm if the page will be used by younger students or if the notes need diagrams. Dense 6 mm spacing can fit more text, but it often makes review harder because there is less room for corrections and annotations.
